Nasodren is intended for the treatment and symptomatic relief in diseases of the nasal and paranasal sinuses and the middle ear.
In acute or chronic recurrent inflammation, including the paranasal sinuses (rhinosinusitis), catarrhal or purulent maxillary rhinosinusitis, frontal rhinosinusitis, ethmoid (near the base of the skull) rhinosinusitis, sphenoidal or combined rhinosinusitis. Acute purulent rhinosinusitis, accompanied by a common infection or eye complications;
In the case of ocular complications or general infection, Nazodren should be administered in combination with an antibiotic;
To facilitate the flow of secretion in acute exudative or purulent otitis (otitis media), acute purulent exudate negnoen or middle ear. At high temperature, Nasodren is administered in combination with an antibiotic;
In post-operative care after surgery of the nose and sinuses.
Do not use Nasodren:
-If you are hypersensitive / allergic to cyclamen, primrose or other family Primulaceae;
-If you have polyps in the nose or sinuses that block the nasal passages and interfere with drainage of secretions.
No studies on the effects of the product during pregnancy and lactation. Therefore Nasodren should not be used by pregnant and lactating women, except when it is written by a doctor.
Nasodren can be used by children over 5 years old. Please follow these instructions.
Other nasal products can be used 1.5-2 hours after the administration of Nasodren.
Ask your doctor or pharmacist if you can use Nasodren if you are taking products that affect blood clotting (such as coumarin derivatives, acetylsalicylic acid) or anticholinergics (such as atropine).
How does Nasodren work?
A few minutes after injection when the oils in Nasodren come in physical contact with the nasal mucosa may feel a slight tingling, itching, burning sensation in the nose or start to sneeze. What to do when an overdose of Nasodren?
Nasodren overdose can cause severe burning sensation in the nasopharyngeal region, but without serious consequences.

Possible side effects:
Like all products Nasodren can cause side effects. It is normal for the presence of any of these symptoms. They show that the product is working. In these cases, treatment should not be interrupted.

Seek medical attention at:
-Nasodren contact with the eye, which can lead to inflammation, or cause symptoms similar to acute conjunctivitis;

The expiry date is stated on the carton and vials containing powder and solvent. Do not use after the expiry date stated on the packaging.
Do not use the solution for more than 16 days after preparation.

Nasodren is intended for adults and children over 5 years:
1. Turn the cap of the vial containing the powder in the direction counterclockwise and remove the cap.
2. Open the plastic bottle with the liquid by breaking off the upper part.
3. Pour all the liquid into the powder vial.
4. Screw the spray nozzle onto the bottle and shake gently until evenly mixed. Wait until foam disappears.
5. Remove the protective cover from the spray nozzle.
6. Take 2-3 test sprays into the air, avoiding eye contact.
7. Keep your head straight, do not lean forward or backward. Insert tip into one nostril. Do not breathe for a short (3-5 seconds) and Inject the solution only once. Take a deep breath through your mouth, then breathe normally.
DO NOT INHALE DURING THE INJECTION.
8. Repeat with the other nostril as described in item 7 above.
9. Clean the nozzle with a clean cloth. Refit the protective cap.
The solution is sprayed in each nostril once a day or once every 2 days, preferably at the same time, approximately 2 hours prior to bedtime. The treatment lasts between 7-10 days, but if necessary can be extended to 12-16 days. An increase in the daily dose does not increase the therapeutic effect.
In case of complications with yeast infection is recommended concomitant antibiotic. Significant improvement or total symptomatic relief is achieved after 6-8 applications. The headache that usually accompanies these conditions, decreases or disappears completely after 3-5 injections of Nazodren. Even if you feel the relief of symptoms, it is recommended to continue treatment for at least 7-10 days.
If you miss a dose, continue treatment the next day as recommended.
If severe or chronic cases it is necessary to repeat the treatment, this can only happen after a break of 7-10 days after the previous course.
Lyophilized powder of juice and aqueous extracts of fresh tubers of Cyclamen eurapeum L., 50 mg.
